An environmental value system is the worldview a person holds towards environmental issues. A person’s value system can be complex and difficult to categorise, but we can loosely group view points depending on their priorities. People may prioritise ecology (ecocentric), they may prioritise humans (anthropocentric), or they put faith in the use of technology to solve problems (technocentric).
